| They are so skint because aberdeen isnt a major industrial place, there aren't many places ot get money, (example: in tokyo, you get car manufacturing), therefor with no major imports or exports aberdeen can't provide anything =D

It's the credit crunch they probaby can't afford to pay for the workers to do the job.. Council cut backs lol.
Advice them to get a few goats, they'll cut and maintain it for free.
