New Rules System

I was thinking lately that the current rules system has loopholes, organised into sections for easy reading.

This is a template for it, with two examples. What do you think?

[1] Bumping Topics
By bumping a topic, you are posting in the topic again after you've been the last person to post in that topic.

a): You Can bump topics, but it must be at least 6 hours after you've you've been the last poster.

b): You Can't bump a topic after it's older than 16 days.

c): Posting before 6 hours is treated as double posting (see below).

d): Posting after 16 days will result in a 24 Hour Ban.

[2] Double Posting
By Double Posting, you are posting again before an earlier post, immediately after a post that you've made before 6 hours. (After 6 hours this is considered bumping - see the rule above).

a) Do not Double Post, or post more than once in succession.

b) Breaking this rule will result in a 24 Hour Ban

Because you bump under 20 mins + double post alot

Seems alright but this one: b): You Can't bump a topic after it's older than 16 days

I don't like any restrictions on old topics, providing the new post is constructive and contributes to the topic I don't see any harm. The only time such restriction should be inforced is if the new reply is just waffle and don't contribute to the subject.

It all seems fine- only problem I have with the system is the zones.. not that this thread or any yet made mentions that.
