Okay so I don't know how many of you read or watch the news but if you do, I'm pretty certain you would have hear about Baby P- a baby who was basically tortured to death by his mum, her boyfriend and another guy.
The baby died, but even before that he suffered broken bones, cuts and gruesome things I'm not even going to write about. The baby was visited by social workers and was seen by a doctor, all of which failed to see these signs. The doctor failed to notice the baby had broken ribs, how is that possible?
So there's been a huge uproar of crittism because of this and I was wondering what you all thought about this- do you think Baby P's death was inevitable or could these people have stopped it from happening? What does this say about the state child care is in right now? _________________

I believe that all the social workers involved in the case of Baby P, including Sharon Shoesmith, Maria Ward and Gillie Christou should be sacked and never allowed to work with vulnerable children again.
As they should of noticed what was going on. :niak:
