..this is my resignation. Let me stress, I am not leaving- when I told the admins I wanted to give up my modship, they made it seem like I was separating my ways with SSF but I’m not. Just keep that in mind as you read this, okay?

Let me first explain why I feel the need to resign- I don’t want to, I love this job (for the most part), but it’s unfair of me to be moderator when I can’t commit myself in the way I should. This year I have my exams which I’m really focused on and I need to spend less the time on the laptop and more time in the books. That being said, I’m still going to come on the forum, just not as much as I currently am. There’s so much going on in my life right now and I sort of feel like I’m losing control of it all, I just want things to slow down a bit and this is one of my steps towards achieving that. I hope this doesn't come as a huge shock to you all, though I have tried my best to keep it a secret (which I'm not very good at)..

Secondly, I need to apologise- I hate that I’m leaving the team at a crucial time when great changes are coming into place, although I did decide to wait until some new moderators were brought in so I hope they’re not too mad at me! I would have left the staff eventually though, right? Honest to God though, you’re much better off without lil me around! My resignation is one of the reasons why the new moderators were announced earlier just to let you all know, so don't blame the admins! And I know the new set of moderators will do a great job, don't let me down guys!

There are a few people I need to mention in this thread.
First and foremost is Adam who has been like a brother to me. There is no one else I would rather have been a moderator with, he’s always been there for me and my stupid questions. He’s great and I am so proud of him becoming admin because there is no one better for the job. Please do me one favour Adam and don’t let being admin get to your head- you have a great personality and you are a great member the way you are, don’t feel the need to change just because of your new position. Thanks Adam, I love ya to bits
Next is Danny. I don’t think he was too keen on me coming a moderator at first, but I hope I proved him wrong. He’s been a great admin to work for, he’s an ace person and he’s really considerate. Thanks Danny for everything.
True Blue- it’s members like you that make people realise why they go on this forum and don’t leave. You are the epitome of a good member, someone who makes the forum as great as it is. I hope other people see this, because you’ve got so much more to give, I know it! Don't you dare leave, otherwise I'm going to have to drag you back on!
Wwe_fanatic- you are one of the nicest members on the forum. You always make me smile and laugh. Remember when I forced you to apply to become a moderator and you got chosen? I was so happy for you because you’re fabulous. Thanks for everything you wrestling nutcase :P Oh and thanks for those silly cat pictures, I must say I’m a bit cuter than they are ;)
Mikey, Stacey, Jordan, Qwerty- for showing me how it’s done. You lot are among the best of the best. It’s a shame that none of you are active anymore, but you’re not forgotten!
Gaztheghost- you’re are so considerate and caring. You always help me with my job by mediating situations that I can’t seem to help and trust me, I really appreciate it. Also love the debates with ya dude!
Forest- you’re a great member. Never lose faith in your code threads, we love them and we love you!
Uni-ted- another awesome member, goes on about his own forum a bit much but nevertheless, a nice guy.
Jabman- for bringing a bit of life into the forum and being really supportive.
Serina- for all the endless debates, some of which we agreed on! You’re another great member, don’t go anywhere missy! It’s nice having another girl on the forum, especially an Asian one ;)
Harrier- don’t listen to anyone, you’ll do a great job moderating the forum! You were chosen for a reason ya hamster!
BakerBaker- a really nice person! You obviously share my love of cats with that profile photo! Honestly though, it’s nice to see a great member return. You’ve already made a great impression!
And there are so many others, too endless to list- Paddy, popman, Jules, Jack, the old time legends- you’re all amazing! Sorry if I missed any names out, too many great people here!

My time has been short as a moderator but I’ve had the best time. Yeah there were times when I hated it- the spam attacks, getting stupid reports, getting told to ban other members and trying to sort out arguments among members, but overall, it was fun. Just remember one thing- this forum isn’t about power or being the best, it’s about having fun. If you’re not a moderator, there’s always another day (I became a mod on my third attempt I believe). The power isn’t important, if you ever become a mod, you’ll learn that. Post quality, not quantity but have fun doing it. Enjoy being on the forum, don’t take everything too seriously and be nice to my fellow mods and admins! It’s harder than you think and the admins especially work so hard. Don’t forget though, be nice to each other please!

A lot of you have been saying this forum is dead but you know, it’s up to all of us to bring out the life that’s still here. This forum is a fantastic place filled with great people, what could be better than that? There are great changes ahead for this forum, be a part of them and appreciate it. The one thing I have hated more than anything is that sometimes people aren’t supportive- well let me plead to you all to encourage others and be happy for them. This forum needs all of you and it needs all of your support- so support it and the other members! This still is the biggest, the best and the most original swapitshop forum and no one, no matter how many other forums they make and try hard with, can take that away from us.
