Upgrade To PHPBB3 - Your Thoughts!

We may upgrade to PHPBB3. But unsure on what you think about this. We have made a test forum just so you know whats it is like:

Of course it is worth it, but you do realise to do it effectively and well, you'll need some sort of knowledge of how the phpbb platform functions? I doubt you'll manage it properly, so I'd recommend against trying.

Well worth upgrading to PHPBB3, most forums are allready using this and they are much better off after.

I say upgrade A.S.A.P

But only if we have the staff who are fully capable to manage it.

Plus myff have modified BB2 so heavily that it's comparable feature-wise to BB3 anyway.

Yes... the new features would have to be implemented.

I think that if we move then the template would have to be built up again from another one, cause there would be too many bugs in the transition from PHPbb2 to 3.
