Were the BBC right to suspend Brand and Ross?

I've heard a lot about this in the news recently everyone seems to have different opinions, some in support of Johnathon Ross and Russell while others seem to loathe them for the prank.

Do you agree with most of the media and am up for them being suspended? or do you think everyone has hyped this up to much?

I thought it was blown out of proportion, and I did actually like Russel Brand before that but he seems a bit of an idiot now... and Andrew Sachs grand daughter looks like an idiot too! They get paid ridiculous amounts of money though.

Over reaction IMHO.
But that's me.
I don't get why Gordon Brown is so bothered either...it's all just a jump on the bandwagon and get some what I would call "I am the same as you out there (not really) and so you can support me publicity".
The media are only reporting because people are getting tired of the constant frenzy on the credit crunch,recession and whatnot.
