ICT,Business,Drama.

I took ICT and Business management and Ict is boring. Business management is really fun probably because the teacher is ace. Well I don't really know you but you seem to know quite a bit to do with computing so i'd say that you would be good at that. Business management i am not sure. You seem to be quite confident so i guess that's quite good for drama.

I took Applied Ict, which is a double award (you get 2 GCSEs for it instead of 1) and it's good cause all we do is the more advanced stuff - and we get no homework!
I also took Music, because its mainly one of my passions and I enjoy it.
Btw, don't try and aim to be a web designer when your older or anything that's to do with the internet (except server-side stuff) cause there'll be no money in it - there's too many already!
And yes, I outshine the class in ICT too. I do programming in my spare time.

Well, I am in Year 9 and going to choose options next year I think.
I have the core subjects, English, Maths, Double Science, RS  and PE, then I can choose up to five more.
I am probably going to do business studies (2 GCSE's) graphics, IT, and not sure what else lol. ;)

too many web designers???, and im looking into applied ICT, because i hate working on powerpoints in my ICT xD, and i get called a geek, but really, they want to be bad ass like me :p
my mate is looking into gaming art design
you know, like designing characters for the latest MMORPG or w/e, thats pretty high paid, about 30k more than the average salary, but im rubbish at art,
might look at game design =D

Yes, there are too many web designers!! I know at least four designers, and I am a designer myself at CSS (I use dreamweaver). It's a nice job, but only for your spare time!
Yes - In applied ICT you don't do Powerpoints and portfolios and useless websites, you do more advanced stuff - you'll see. There's no harm in being a geek, but make sure you balance it out with coolness 8)

Gaming is a different matter alltogether. It's a celebrated career path, but much harder than your average joe job.
For example, it takes quite a while to master the basics; you have to have a GCSE in applied ICT, B+ in maths, english and science and you have to know how to use PRO/DESKTOP, CAD and 3Ds Max. All three are very powerful programs .
Yes, you earn quite a lot doing gaming but its reeeeealllly haaaaarrrrddd!

i am experienced with CAD-CAM xD i know how to use my desktop :p
im a "boffin" in maths, but i do have alot of friends aswell, im not some dungeons and dragons warlord xD and im doing fasttrack science and and english.
im also skilled in 4 different languages
French,spanish,english :p,italian.
but translators are boring xD.

:P I meant PRO/DESKTOP - its a 3D Software suite - http://images.google.co.uk/images...&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi
Maths - OK, but depends on the teacher & setting.
Science - Good at the moment.
English - Similar to maths, but I probably like it less.
Languages - We're the only year in the whole school who doesn't have to do compulsory languages xD
