I am Puzzled because I don't know what "Happy Ramadan!" means?

Is it like a Happy Christmas for Muslims or something?

lol a bit like that. It's a month of fasting all day to make you more God- focussed and a make you a better person i guess.

Its basically Lent but exclusively for muslims, but with a slight alteration that they don't eat all day until sundown, then they have a big meal.

They celebrate it(clititation needed here please guys) because they need to clear up their relation to god. They are supposed to read the Qu'ran(or Qur'an) throughout ramadan or at least read most of it...

I think thats how it goes.
