Just watching FiveUSA and Patrick Swayze is on there ( Who also has cancer )

Guess what, he's making a TV doc and interviews about his life and how cancer is affecting him and his family..

Strange isn't it how the media and members of the public come down hard on Jade Goody for doing what she's doing, yet with a high profile film star it is accepted and seen 'just a normal thing to be doing

Well I have read 'previously' in the papers criticism about her and what she is doing... But the majoriety of critics are the public in general..

So whats your thoughts on the fact Patrick Swayze is doing pretty much the same thing as Jade?

I'm still against it- any celebrity doing it I wouldn't agree with.

The public have mixed opinions, the media mostly are putting her in that "brave" light.

What is it that you are against? Them giving interviews or the fact they get paid for it?

Have you had anyone close to you that has had cancer, and died from it? Have you seen what cancer does to peope who have suffered from it?

I know I have, and believe me, they are brave people.

I personally don't have a problem with her doing it, if she wants to raise money for her kids, fair enough. The only thing I don't like is that everyone has forgotten what she did when she wasn't ill, and instead of paying for things, she's receiving free wedding dresses from harrods. Its like condoning everything she did.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think it's a good thing that a popular celebrity like Jade has Cancer. I don't mean it in a "hah hah look at that superficial ***** die slowly!" I mean it in a way that since Jade "came out" of the Cancer closet, the number of young women having smear tests has increase. It has raised much more awareness for Cancer.

True, but why should she not 'if offered' money for allowing the media to follow her progress and treatment?

Who realy is at fault with the scenario, the media who pay her money, or her for taking it?

All I'm saying is that people should think about other people as well and not take so much pity on her. Instead of completely dismissing the fact that prior to that she caused offense to alot of people, shouldn't the government be trying to raise awareness about discrimination too? Sorry I know everything I say links back to racism

lol, Of course theres others with the same illness who 'just get on with it' and don't make a fuss about it.

But like I said previously, which hasn't been answered lol... Whos at fault in all this, the media who offer her the money, or Jade for accepting it?

Lets not forget she will be leaving children behind who will be uppermost to her and whats she's doing it for.
