Theres noone being brainwashed in all this lol... I think the public are fully aware of her reasons for doing it... And those that don't know the reasons are ignorant.

I might as well step in. I think both are to blame- the media at the end of the day are the ones making more money but it's her fault for accepting to be part of such an exploitation.
We all agree that it has raised awareness but there are other ways of doing that. I agree with Serina that people have dismissed and in some ways condoned what she did in the past which isn't right. There are other cancer patients out there, many of them will also be leaving children behind, but they can't get money by using their illness. How is that fair? We're living in a media-obsessed world that are feeding onto everything that they possibly can- people like Jade Goody don't help.

How can you say that people arent being brainwashed by the media gaz?
They're making her out to be the most perfect model of a human who has never made any mistakes in her life.

How is the fact 'other people' with cancer ain't making money from their illness Jades fault?
Your statement is impllying as such it's her fault? I'm not saying it's fair that she is making a big buck from it and others ain't... I'm saying with the limited time she has, her prioriety is her childrens future which is the sole aim behind what she's doing.

Fair enough it's not her fault, but she's making excessive amounts of money that her kids won't even need.
Fine, if she had signed a few deals, and made enough money for them I wouldnt mind, but it's the fact that she isnt
1. Using her spotlight in the media to teach people that they shouldn't disrespect people 2. Teaching her kids that they can work hard in life and earn money, not just go to every magazine possible

I don't think you'll find Jade would of approached the media with the idea of this, you'll find it would of been Max Clifford, her greedy publicist who appears to be running the show in what she does and doesn't do.
Yeah agree with all the commenst regarding her behaviour on BB was dispicable though. But I certainly wouldn't nor don't hold it against her for making money in al this, like Kutekittenx stated, theres many of other people making much more than Jade is in all this, why shouldn't she take a cut of it as a nest egg for her children.
I honestly don't see what the problem is with that lol.

I agree with you in a way, I dont see a problem with her making a bit of money, its just that she should be trying to use her voice in the best way possible, and isnt it setting a bit of a bad example to her young kids? They need to know that alot of people work hard for their money, unlike Jade, since she came into the media (Not referring to the whole cancer thing, I mean before that)

Serina has made a good point you know. Her children might think that the only way they can make money is through the media- should we be expecting to see her children writing autobiographies as a result of their mother's death one day? Perhaps.
I've said it before, and I shall say it again- a mother's love is the most valuable thing in the world. I'm not by all means saying she doesn't love them, I'm just saying if I had months to live, I would spend literally every second and every breath with them. I would never waste a second with a reporter or whatever. Gaz, please let me stress I'm not saying she doesn't spend any time with her kids, just that with little time to live, I would spend all of my time with them.
