A few days ago I was sending pms to Gaz asking him if dismissing Harrier would make him a moderator. A few days ago I was asking Danny to get rid of him from the team. When he got the job and at the time I resigned, yes I did defend him and I said to him so many times that I'm sure he'd prove everyone wrong- he didn't.

No what you mean. It was pretty stupid to appoint him. The fact that you made a Global Announcement saying Harrier you fired is harsh.
He is a scammer, and a lossy mod. but to do that is too far. 
But you did do the correct decision in getting rid of him.
