Where did you get those stats BakerBaker?

Anyway, the forum domain name value depends on:

> How many unique visitors visit the site every day
> How many of those come back (they like the site, therefore they are loyal)
> Our Google PageRank
> How many links to us are posted around the net.

^^^ Those affect the value of the domain name. ^^^

Of course, Mike bought the domain for £7 on 123reg, but it's value would depend on those above.

I'd value the domain name at about £40 - £60, and the site at about £180 - £220, depending on the time of the year.

Hmmm i would have swapped those stats around....i used domain value websites....ask FS for the one he used that came out as $4-500 or so, there's many more around.

That depends.

Compared to larger forums like the other swapitshop forums, such as ssl, gaia online and oxytown, who have 16,000, 1,400,000 and 18,000 members each respectively, that estimate is about correct.

Don't trust domain valuation sites, you can have 1 million uniques a month and if it doesn't generate revenue it isn't worth buying. This forum is worthless, really, it's dead and gets about 20 posts a day.

Stop making things up, you don't know the value of oxytown or gaia.

I didn't state oxytown or gaia's value.

IDIOT!

I didn't say you stated the value of either, you did however compare the value of them both to swapitshopforums valuation, therefore you implied you knew the value. I can't compare the value of ASDA to TESCO when I don't know the value of TESCO, can I?

Also, I can play that game as well.

What I meant was that there was an obvious difference between here and say, gaia or other Swapitshop forums.
