I have downloaded a programme called audacity.
It is absolutely perfect for editing auido clips etc.

I've been using this for a few years now to avoid downloading songs illegally lol ;) You just have to record "Wave Out" and it will record whatever is coming out of your speakers. So if you go onto youtube and get a video with just pictures so the sound quality is good, they sound just the same as when you would buy them.
By the way if you do that you have to get the mp3 converter plugin.

I used to do that, but especially on youtube the sound's in mono - and when adding the LAME mp3 file so that it can output to MP3, it sounds very bad on your ipod...
If you happen to have money in the future, Adobe Audition is like the next generation up version of this. It can "Stereofy" songs for you
