Here's another photoshop tutorial on how (specifically) to create snazzy text.
1. Open Photoshop
2. Create a document: 400 x 150 (same as last time)
3. Create a text and type in anything (or just use your username)...
4. Click the Move tool.
5. Move the text to a location that you like, I've moved mine into the centre.
6. Click the filter effects button at the bottom of the layers panel...
(It looks like an F)
7. Then click "Bevel and Emboss"
8. Change the size to 40px
9. Then tick the colour overlay box and click on it.
Click on the red box.
Change the colour to a light blue colour, or type in "00a2ff" to the colour code box.
10. Click OK
11. Make sure the inner shadow tickbox is ticked (tick it).
11. Then exit the filter effects dialog box.
You should have something that looks like this...

your photoshop your using is different, however i was messing around and stumbled upon this =D (that bevel and emboss thing and the F isnt on mine =\) you helped me greatly though, i dedicated my picture too you
