SwapitShop is launching a monthly Cool Report detailing what's hot and what's not for young adults under 18 using a 350,000-strong panel.
Using insight from the company's SwapitShop community, described as kids' eBay, the Cool Report offers youth insights, trends, views, behaviours and context.
Each month the online report will cover the top 20 items kids and teens have searched for. It will include month-on-month comparisons, top risers and fallers, commentary and features. Also included willb e marketing techniques and language that youths adopt to encourage bids and tips on how to better interact with the youth market.
Jonathan Attwood, chief executive of SwapitShop, said most brands struggle to keep on top of what's really happening and what's really cool in the youth market.
"Either, they find it impossible to get hold of the insight, or what they can get hold of are reports that are three to 12 months out of date.
"The Monthly SwapitShop Cool Report changes this, by tapping into the daily activities of our panel of 350,000 under 18s it allows brands to keep their finger on the pulse of what's really happening," he said.
SwapitShop is the online reward auction programme for under 18's.
